STAR FIRE ® is the thoroughly tested thin film fire protective intumescent
coating for structural materials. The composition of STAR FIRE ® will continuously
react when temperatures rise up to around 200 degree celsius, and swelling to many
times of the original thickness to produce an insulating foamed carbonaceous char,
which thereby reduce the increasing rate of temperature of materials. STAR FIRE ®
gives a thicker foam of higher stability together with a highly effective insulative
property layer. As a result, it can therefore prolong more time for load-bearing capacity
of structure.
Structural materials coated with STAR FIRE ® can meet the requirements
of fire resistance according to ASTM E-119 and ISO 834 standards under fire safety
engineering and NFPA ( National Fire Protection Association )
